- Encouragement to rebuild life skills
- Share valuable information on resources and services for people with mental health issues
- Raise community awareness with highlighting issues experienced by grief and illnesses such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, anorexia, alcoholism, drugs and gambling addiction

The group is open to community members with mental health issues who can benefit from this support group, as well as their carer/s, family &/or friends. The Support Group is a consumer/carer run group.
